Product Overview
- PP storage tanks are made from polypropylene (PP), reinforced polypropylene (PPH), and pure polyethylene (linear low-density polyethylene LLDPE, high-density polyethylene HDPE) as raw materials. They are integrally molded using a special rotational molding process, offering advantages such as corrosion resistance, long service life, light weight, high strength, safe transportation, and convenient maintenance. PP storage tanks operate at atmospheric pressure, with operating temperatures ranging from -10℃ to 120℃ for PP and -40℃ to 60℃ for PVC. PP storage tanks feature seamless, one-piece molding, impact resistance, aging resistance, light weight, leak-proof design, acid and alkali resistance, long service life, and compliance with hygiene standards.
- PP storage tanks, along with PVC welded tanks and steel-lined rubber tanks, have a service life and impact resistance more than three times that of ordinary fiberglass tanks. They can replace stainless steel, nickel, titanium, and other metal tanks in a wide range of applications, making them a practical, next-generation, high-efficiency, corrosion-resistant storage and transportation device for chemical liquids. Shuangyi Environmental Protection's PP storage tank production has significantly improved in scale and quality, making a substantial contribution to the reform of chemical plastic storage tanks in China and the development of the Chinese chemical industry.
Product Advantages
It tanks possess excellent chemical corrosion resistance, exhibiting good resistance to inorganic acids, alkalis, and salts (except oxidizing media). Common solutions for PP storage tanks include: dilute sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, hydrogen peroxide, phosphoric acid, and ammonia. While most manufacturers of similar products still rely entirely on manual welding equipment, we combine multiple welding processes, including imported German automatic hot-melt welding machines and automatic welding guns. This significantly improves welding strength while eliminating the impact of employee mood swings and reliance on past experience on equipment quality.
Production Process
Tank Body Butt Welding and Wrapping:
Butt welding of the tank body involves using a fully automatic plastic panel assembly machine to process polypropylene sheets into tank shapes. The system is microcomputer-controlled, automatically splicing the polypropylene sheets based on the heating and welding principles.
External Welding:
External welding utilizes imported automatic extrusion welding units to achieve large weld seams in stress areas of the storage tank in a single process. New polypropylene granules with the same properties as the tank body are hot-melted at the large weld seams, forming a single unit with the tank bottom and body.
Tape winding fabrication:
This is a key process using spot welding tape winding technology, primarily aimed at increasing the strength of the polypropylene storage tank. Simply put, it involves wrapping a 120*4mm polypropylene sheet around the outer surface of the finished tank.
Pipe installation fabrication:
Using an imported small-scale automatic extrusion welding unit, the pipe fittings are welded to the flanges. Then, a hole cutter is used to cut the appropriate diameter on the tank body, followed by manual extrusion welding.
