PVDF straight fittings are one of the simplest and most commonly used connecting fittings in PVDF piping systems, used to connect two PVDF straight fitting pipes of the same diameter into a longer straight pipe.

Connection Method

PVDF straight fitting connectors are almost entirely connected using hot-melt socket welding.

Welding Steps

Preparation: Use a special cutter to cut the pipe end vertically, cleaning the outer wall of the pipe and the inner wall of the straight connector socket.
Heating: Use a dedicated PVDF hot-melt welding machine to simultaneously heat the outer wall of the pipe and the inner wall of the straight connector socket.
Insertation: When the material surface is molten, quickly insert the pipe straight into the socket of the straight connector to the predetermined depth.
Cooling: Hold still and allow it to cool naturally. After cooling, the pipe and straight connector are fused into a strong whole.

High Strength: The weld strength is close to the strength of the pipe body.
Good Sealing: Achieves a permanent, leak-free seal.
No additional materials required: No glue, sealing rings, etc., maintaining the purity and consistency of the piping system.

Advantages Comparison

Compared to PP/FRPP:

60℃ higher temperature resistance, better chlorine and oxidation resistance;

Compared to PTFE:

Higher mechanical strength, heat-meltable, 30-50% lower cost;

Compared to stainless steel:

No ion precipitation, no passivation required, weight reduced by half.
