Plastic FRPP pipes are based on conventional fiberglass reinforced polypropylene pipes, with increased wall thickness to meet higher pressure, greater burial depth, or stronger wear resistance requirements. They are widely used in chemical, municipal, mining, and seawater transportation industries.
Product Features
- Large nominal diameter: DN300～DN1200 mm, customizable to customer requirements.
- Wall thickness range: DN1000, maximum wall thickness up to 45 mm, thickened type with 20%～50% increased wall thickness compared to conventional pipes.
- Pressure Rating: Commonly PN10, thickened type supports PN16 or higher.
- Ring Stiffness: SN8, SN10, SN12.5 optional, suitable for different burial depths and soil loads
- High Temperature Resistance: -14℃～90℃, short-term up to 110℃.
- High Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to acids, alkalis, and salts; resistant to chloride ion and sulfide corrosion; suitable for chemical wastewater, seawater, etc.
- Service Life: Up to 50 years or more (under rated operating conditions).
Selection Standards
Design Pressure:
Determine the maximum working pressure and design pressure required by the system.
Ring Stiffness Requirements:
Calculate the required ring stiffness rating (e.g., SN12.5, SN16, etc.) based on burial depth, ground load, and soil conditions, and consult the manufacturer to see if thickened pipe can meet the requirements.
Standards and Specifications:
Directly communicate your pressure or stiffness requirements to the manufacturer; they will provide non-standard thickened wall thickness solutions according to their internal design specifications. It is usually expressed as "DN800xδ20" (diameter 800mm, wall thickness 20mm) and other forms.
