PVDF pipelines are high-molecular polymer pipes made of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), belonging to the category of special plastic pipes used in industrial applications. The material is a homopolymer of vinylidene fluoride or a copolymer containing a small amount of fluorinated vinyl monomers, primarily used in microelectronics, metallurgy, chemical, pharmaceutical, and nuclear energy industries.

Material

PVDF pipelines are made from vinylidene fluoride homopolymers or copolymers of vinylidene fluoride with other small amounts of fluorinated vinyl monomers. PVDF resin combines the characteristics of fluoropolymers and general-purpose resins. Besides excellent chemical corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, weather resistance, and radiation resistance, PVDF pipelines also possess piezoelectric, dielectric, and thermoelectric properties, making it the second most produced fluoroplastic product.

Product Features

High Temperature Resistance:

Long-term operating temperature can reach -40℃ ~ +140℃, and short-term resistance can withstand 150℃. This is significantly higher than PPH (approximately 90℃) and PVC (approximately 60℃).

Flame Retardant:

PVDF is flame-retardant with a limiting oxygen index (LOI) as high as 44%, and it is self-extinguishing upon removal of the flame, making it a safer choice in fire-risk areas.

Resistant to Media:

It can resist the corrosion of most inorganic acids, alkalis, salts, halogens, and oxidants, including highly corrosive media such as concentrated sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia, and chlorine.

Transparent:

The material itself is pure and non-toxic, does not breed bacteria, and has extremely low leaching.
