A five way pipe joint is a fitting used in piping systems. It has five ports, allowing for the connection and fluid distribution between five pipes.

Performance Characteristics

Chemical Resistance: PP and PVC are resistant to acids and alkalis (pH 1-14); PVDF is resistant to strong oxidizing acids and halogens.
Lightweight: Density 0.9-1.4 g/cm³, only 1/8 the weight of steel fittings, facilitating handling and hoisting.

Structure and Common Types

"Cross + One" Type (4+1 Type): This is the most typical five-way connector. It looks like a standard cross four-way connector, but with an additional vertical port added in the middle of one of the main pipes. Imagine it as a tee trunk with another tee vertically connected to it. Suitable for complex scenarios where branches need to branch out in three different directions from a main pipe, with one branch running in a straight line with the main pipe. Commonly used in multi-source collection or multi-branch distribution systems.
"Double-T Combination" Type: Composed of two tees welded together with short pipes, forming five joints. This is typically a site-made or custom-made method. Used when standard fittings cannot meet specific angle and spacing requirements.
"Off-Plank Top-Off": The five joints are not all in the same plane. For example, two joints may be on one plane, and the other three on another intersecting plane. Used for spatial piping layouts, bypassing obstacles, or connecting pipelines at different elevations.
