Product Overview
PPH pickling towers are devices used to treat waste gas generated during pickling processes or to store and react pickling solutions. They are made of modified polypropylene (PPH) material.
Structure and Working Principle
- Waste Gas Treatment Type: Similar in structure to PP scrubbing towers, it consists of a tower body, inlet, outlet, spray system, packing layer, and bottom collection tank. Waste gas enters from the bottom of the tower and comes into countercurrent contact with the absorbent sprayed from the top. Pollutants are neutralized or absorbed by the absorbent, and the purified gas is discharged after the droplets are removed by a demister.
- Solution Treatment Type: Typically a cylindrical container with an inlet and sand inlet at the top, and a drain and filter/sand outlet at the bottom. When used for quartz sand pickling, acid and quartz sand enter the tank from the top, where the pickling reaction occurs. The waste liquid and quartz sand are discharged from the bottom.
