PP loose joint are detachable pipe fittings used to connect PP pipes, facilitating the installation, disassembly, and maintenance of pipelines.

Product Structure

Female/Socket End: Typically, one end is a connector body with internal threads, and the other end is a socket for heat fusion socket welding.
Male/Spigot End: Typically, one end is a connector body with external threads, and the other end is a spigot for heat fusion socket welding.
Union Nut: A hexagonal nut with internal threads, used to lock the male and female ends together.

Common Types and Styles

Hot-melt Socket Union: The most common type. Both ends are sockets, directly welded to PP pipes using a hot-melt tool. The connection is sealed by a gasket compressed by a nut.

Internal/External Threaded Union:

One end with internal thread, one end with hot-melt socket: Used to connect PP pipes to metal (or other material) valves or equipment with external threads.
One end with external thread, one end with hot-melt socket: Used to connect PP pipes to equipment with internal threads.
Union with Flange Connection: A heavier-duty union, usually with a flat or convex seal, secured by multiple bolts or clamps, commonly used in medium-to-high pressure or large-diameter applications.
Quick-Connect Union: Features a snap-on or push-ring mechanism, allowing for "insert to lock, push to release," suitable for applications requiring extremely fast disassembly (relatively less common in PP material, more often seen in stainless steel or special plastics).
