PPH threaded joint are pipe transition connectors made of homopolymer polypropylene. One end is internally threaded, and the other end is externally threaded. They are commonly used to connect pipes or equipment with different thread types, and can also serve as transition joint for pipes of different materials.
Common Types and Specifications
PPH External Thread Straight Fitting: One end is externally threaded, and the other end is a socket (for heat fusion welding).
■ Function: Converts a welded section of PPH pipe into an externally threaded interface.
PPH Internal Thread Straight Fitting: One end is internally threaded, and the other end is a socket (for heat fusion welding).
■ Function: Converts a welded section of PPH pipe into an internally threaded interface.
PPH Internal and External Thread Straight Fitting: One end is externally threaded, and the other end is internally threaded.
■ Function: Directly connects two threaded interfaces of different specifications or types.
Connection method
The connection is highly flexible. One end can be firmly connected to PPH pipes of the same material through heat fusion socket connection to ensure the strength and sealing of the interface; the other end can be connected to valves, instruments, pipes of different materials and other components with corresponding threads through threads. When connecting, the thread sealant or PTFE tape can be used to further improve the sealing effect and prevent media leakage.
